In 1983, the author recorded his life-story on tape. He drew some colourful and vivid, well-nigh brutally truthful portraits which gained authenticity from an ironical presentation of himself. He himself, as well as the women who were important in his life, his frivolous, erotic affairs and his friends and other men he knew are all depicted as marionettes of a kind or characters in-and the plot of-a commedia dell’arte piece. The author regards himself an „unfortunate fellow” since chance has brought him together with many „dunces”, „morons”, „arty snobs” and „sneaking hypocrites”-and as a „lucky dog” who has had the good fortune to meet with understanding and appreciation from many „greats on the literary scene”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ph\u00e9bus of France have signed a contract for publishing a series of his oeuvre, and Jos\u00e9 Corti, also of France, are planning to bring out a French edition of his novel „Towards the Only Metaphor” (Az egyetlen metafora fel\u00e9).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
